An ever-growing calendar, a website, social media, photos and videos… ExpoinCittà is doing pretty well, isn’t it? But we want more! That’s why we have just launched our multicultural blog in six (soon seven) languages. Young native speakers are going to tell us a story. A story about “their” Milan.
ExpoinCittà is basically crowdsourcing. Ideas and initiative come from city users. It is a bottom-up process. We gather events organised by dozens of operators and, likewise, we aim to communicate the point of view of those experiencing Milan during the six months of Expo.
A place to BLOG will be an essential communication tool for ExpoinCittà, since we will start and talk in Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish and soon Arabic (in addition to Italian and English). And social media too will gradually start communicating in these languages, in order to open a direct channel towards the 6 million international tourists expected for Expo.
A place to BLOG will feature original articles, not impersonal translations. Each and every blogger will share with us their unique advice on interesting tourist places, must-sees and must-go ExpoinCittà events. Ranging from art exhibitions to marathons, from cooking workshops to opera arias… our bloggers will bend over backwards to inform and advise you before and during your stay in Milan!
Milan is for sure A place to BE in the real world… but while surfing the net, do not forget to visit A place to BLOG!
P.S. Special thanks to the students of Politecnico di Milano for this extraordinary re-engineered logo!
